What is Chef's Dinner and how does it work?

Our family is sailing on the Coral on a seven day Alaska tour next year. What is Chef's Dinner or Chef's Table? We have cruised on Princess before, but I don't remember there being a chef's dinner or a Chef's table...is it for everyone or only past cruisers, and does it cost extra? Thanks for answering.

Hi Cruise Dad,

 

I suggest you do a search under "Chef's Table"--there is a ton of info on this board about it, that I would do a poor job of repeating.

 

It's highly worthwhile. My husband and I loved. it. It does cost $$ (so does everything extra on a cruise) but it's worthwhile if you enjoy food.
