Anyone been in Cabin 4056 on Quest?

Hi all, we are booked on Quest for September 8th 2010 Barcelona to Venice and have been assigned Cabin 4056. Has anyone been in this cabin before as I notice it is the very end cabin right next door to the Shore Excursion desk and I was wondering if it might get a bit noisy because of this.

My TA asked if I was okay with this cabin so I am presuming I have the option to change if I wish. Any thoughts would be most appreciated thanks.

I would make a switch. 4037 and 4039 are both available on your sailing, and either would get you away from a potentially noisy location.

IMHO your TA should not have accepted 4056 for the very reason you mentioned. There are LOTS of cabins available right now. Why would he/she take one that is less than ideal?

You've picked a great itinerary. Enjoy your cruise.

Hi Cocktail Queenie,

I'm sure you'll be very happy with your cabin, but i I can reassure you, we were in 4050, so a few doors down your original location and we LOVED that location as it was VERY convenient. It was close to the gangway and we could be out of the ship in a minute from our stateroom. We were close to forward and aft elevator, and one flight of stairs from Deck 5 where the dining room, cabaret, casino, Mosaic Café are... There is a door that closes the corridor on either side of the Purser's Desk and frankly, we never heard a thing from our cabin, whether the door was open or closed.

You'll have a great time on the Quest!!!

Hi,

Last year on Tahitian Princess (same type of ship) we were in the first cabin by the gest relations desk It was also next to the gang way. It was the best cabin and location that we ever had. I would book that cabin again if I could.

This is a small ship. Nothing is very far from anything else. It doesn't make sense to be choose a cabin next to a public space unless you have trouble walking and need to be as close to a gangway as possible.
