Aft Balcony Question

We're trying to decide, and this isn't an aft wrap - just aft - is it a rougher ride than midship? Noise? I need advice - there are only 2 left for the boat we're about to book. THANKS!

Ship name and deck would help, but as a rule I LOVE aft cabins, and I don't feel any more motion than I do midship. Noise would depend on the deck directly below you.

It's the Triumph on Deck 6 and there is a club directly below. This concerns me.

We just sailed the Triumph and had a balcony deck 6 midship, right above the promenade singer/band in front of the casino and it was very noisy. I'd think a cabin over a club would be even noisier.

Thank you very much for your honesty. We were under the buffet on the Glory, and the noise definitely bothered us, so I'm going to forget this idea.

We booked cabins 6440 and 6467 side by side center aft when we sailed the Triumph. We had no problems with noise at all and thought it was a great location. I would not have any problem or hesitation to book those cabins again.

I think the noise tends to be further up the hallways. On the Glory we had a corner aft over a club and heard nothing. Cabins a few doors up the hall did....

Not that we ever noticed. I just asked my DW and DD (22 at the time) if they remember any noise. They both do not remember anything that bothered them.

We booked 6463 on the Carnival Victory and did not hear a thing. We turned the A/C up at night. No outside noise at all. Since the Carnival Triumph is the sister ship of the Carnival Victory, we booked the same 6463 cabin on our upcoming cruise in 3 weeks!

We love the motion in the aft cabins. I will always choose an AFT cabin if I possibly can. We were mid ship on the Carnival Freedom and it was fine, but I prefer the AFT cabins.

We just got back from the Triumph in 6467 and didn't really hear any noise or vibrations. One night you could just barely hear the karoke downstairs, but only if you really tried!!

 

We absolutely loved that location on the ship and found it super convenient to get to everything. Plus the views were AMAZING!!!

looking into moving from empress midship on victory to a side 9A premium 8422 or 8427 and woried about "movement"......is it really different from midship? I get sea sick and wouldnt want to feel rocking while i sleep!!!!
