? about slide on Atlantica

My family is going on the 1-23-05 Atlantica cruise. I have read that the slide is only open 1 hr a day. Is that true? If so,my 8 yr old son will be very disappointed. Thanks for any replies. Chris

The slide was open 2 hours a day when we went in december 10-11 in the morning and 3 -4 in the afternoon. This was long enough for my boys, the water was real cold and the boys prefered playing in the pool. Don't forget to send your son to kid's club, mine loved it. Also. The kids club staff will not advertise the fact, but they are obliged to offer group babysitting from 11.30 - 1 am if you require it. They have to have 2 or more kids. It's free and we utilised it a couple of times. We got extra pillows and a blanket from our butler and the boys would watch TV fall asleep and we could go to the disco or casino and carried them back to their beds to sleep, we did this when the following the day we were at sea so that they could happily lie in. We would also tip them for their help.
