Eurodam Question???? Super Bowl

I booked the Eurodam E. Caribbean for 2/6/10...The first sea day is on Sunday 2/7......Not a deal breaker but my questions are:

 

1. Is there anywhere on the ship to watch the Super Bowl? I do not believe HAL has the huge outdoor screen like Carnival & Princess.

 

2. Would the first sea day (in this case Super Bowl Sunday) be a Formal Night?:eek:

We've been onboard another HAL ship during the Super Bowl. Viewing was in the Sports Bar - complete with appropriate munchies (chicken wings etc.) At least that is what I was told by a friend who went. It didn't start until 9:30/10 p.m. ship's time (we were off the coast of Argentina) and not being football fans, we didn't stay up.

Last year I was on the Noordam on Super Bowl Sunday. I can't remember where else the game was shown, but I do know it was shown in the Queens Lounge. I stopped in for a few minutes toward the end of the game.

The E-dam has the same areas that are conducive to watching the game, so I suspect it will be held in several venues.

Mary Ellen, on the Rotterdam cruise the game was shown in the Sports/Casino lounge and also in the Wajang Theatre.

In other years I've also been on the Noordam during the playoffs. At least during the afternoon games they were shown in the Northern Lights Lounge as well as the Sports Bar.
