ShineSoul30 Posted October 15, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2009 The fiancee and I are cruising on the Destiny in March and we want to go to Miami a day early. Anyone know of any good hotels to stay in close by the port? And also does anybody know of the prices of taxis or shuttles to and from the airport, and then from the hotel to the port? Thanks in advance for all your help!

Thanks in advance for all your help! Never flew into Miami so I have no idea how close the airport is to whatever hotel you choose. I personally like the Holiday Inn Port of Miami. It is across the street from Bayside Market so you have choices for dinner the night before. If you book there ask for a room facing the port on a high floor. The show in the morning is fantastic. A taxi from the HI with tip ran us less than $10. Have also stayed at the Raddison which was nice, but you needed to use the people mover, or a taxi after dark from Bayside Market.
