Kohunlich or Dzibanché and Kinichna???

I am in port in Costa Maya with the Ryndam in Feb, 7AM until 3PM. Hoping to get away from the masses, so haven't been too interested in Chaccoben as a first choice. First off, will I have time to book one of these excursions? We could book through the ship, but in our experience the 3rd party tours with booked while on cruises always end up being more memorable. I'd be looking to book through http://costamayacruiseexcursions.com/ OR http://www.thenativechoice.com/ ...I've seen reviews for the native choice, what about the other one? Anyone gone through them before?

Providing the time isn't going to be dealbreaker, anyone have any recent experiences at either site? Which site do you recommend and why? From the research I've done so far I'm leaning towards Dzibanché and Kinichna but I'd love to hear feedback!

The porblem with both of these sites is the distance from Costa Maya and the somewhat round about way you have to go to get there. Both are on the other side of the bay of chetumel west of coata maya. Given the weather, road conditions, vehicle conditions and the amount fo time your ship is in port, you may run a risk of not being able to get back in time. Just check out reviews and schedules carefully then plan accordingly. The mask temple at Kohunlich looks very unique to what other ruins sites offer.
