Elation stuck in San Diego

I am on the next week Oct 26 Elation cruise. I could not make the Oct 16 but now I am glad that I could not. I hope the ship does not have problems.

Just got onboard at noon and they announced at 2:00 pm that they need to test equipment on the ship and we will not set sail until after 10:00 pm tonight. I guess the problems continue. Good news is tomorrow is a sea day. Bad news is no Poker Pro tonight. It doesn't bother us though - we are on vacation. Keep an eye on the webcam, we might be here tomorrow.

While onboard the Sapphire Princess, last year, we got stuck in Cabo because one of the tender boats couldn't be lifted up. It was so much fun.

Usually, the ship can not open the casino while we're docked. The Captain made an executive decision and opened the casino and the stores. If we were in California waters he wouldn't be able to do this.

It's not so bad to be marooned onboard a cruise ship.

Have fun, make the best of it........relax and enjoy the ship. All the lounges, restaurants and theatre will be open. And, you're not at home cooking and cleaning........WAHOOOOOO!!!!!!!
