Wine stores in Seattle or Vancouver?

Are there any liquor or wines stores in Seattle near Seattle Place or in Vancouver on the route from the train station to Canada Place? Want to purchase wines to take on board. Do not want to have to transport it across the country!!!

Seattle Place?? Seattle Center? Pike Place?

 

Wine (not spirits) is sold in grocery stores in WA. There are several specialty stores in the downtown area; state/provincial liquor stores otherwise.

There is a small liquor store across the street from Canada Place. You should have too much trouble finding it.

And another good size one about 10 blocks from Canada Place. They sell in state stores (I think they are state stores). We bought some good box wine from regional winery. No breakage, easy storage. Lots of wine in stateroom.

I thought I found addresses here, but can not find them.

Thurlow and Alberni is a Speciality Liquor store. They sell a better selection of wine and spirits for you to try.

Harbour Centre - 3 blocks from Canada Place has a store

Near Seattle Center, the state liquor store (only place to get hard liquor) is on First Avenue North, just south of Mercer Street, on the west side (Puget Sound) of the street. At the corner of First and Mercer, Larry's Markets has a nice wine/beer department. These both are both near the northwest side of Seattle Center.

In Seattle, you can buy wine/beer in the corner drug store.
