skf Posted October 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2009 We are looking at Crown Princess' Sept 3, 2010 TA, Southampton to New York. Has anyone opinions on taking AerLingus from BOS to London? They seem to have a better schedule than some others. Thanks, Steve

Personally I think LGW/Gatwick is easier than LHR, given the direct train from LGW to Southampton Central. You can have a free stopover in Dublin for up to two weeks. You can skip the EI portion DUB-London, and book a BE/FlyBE ticket DUB-SOU/Southampton instead of transiting through London If you do book Aer Lingus all the way, make sure it's on a single ticket, as otherwise you'll pay for luggage on the DUB-LGW portion.
