lyni480 Posted October 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2009 I don't want to bog down my luggage with books. However, I do plan on reading by the pool. Does the library have a good selection of books? We are cruising the Mariner of the Seas. Thanks for the info. Arizona
DFritz Posted October 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2009 Go in the first day and pick up what you may want to read, even if later in the week as the newest choices might be taken early in your cruise. Some libraries , every ship is different, are open all of the time, some only one hour each day, some are locked up and have to have an attendant, some are not and are self help... I always take two paperbacks and then hope I can get something additional.
Rare silentbob007 Posted October 26, 2009 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2009 The library on Mariner is self-serve and not very big. I could usually find one or two books I wanted to read but if you are picky at all you may have trouble. Some unusual stuff gets left behind, but also popular authors like Goodkind, King, Crichton, Grisham, etc.
