HAL tours-Caribbean train eco Cruise and Countryside or Tortguero Canals?

I am looking at these tours-anyone done them? the Caribbean train Eco cruise and countryside says it also goes to the Torutguero Canals-but it is cheaper-anyone know why?

 

I am particularity interested in knowing if the boat is covered-or if we would be in the direct sun. How long a bus ride? etc. for EACH tour.
