You mentioned that you stayed at a hotel pre-cruise that took you to the port. Do you mind saying which hotel, and if it was a good (or bad) experience? I'm also coming in the night before, and am interested in a hotel with a port shuttle the next day.

Can you tell me where you rented a car at in St. Thomas? Did you have a reservation or get one when you arrived. We are a party of 7 that would need a minivan or something comparable. Did you notice if they had any of these? Thanks so much!

I appreciated the OP's review and the one that followed. We've never been on a Norwegian cruise. Even though we'll be on a different itinerary, the information about the ship, embarkment, dining, and the rest of it was very useful. Having only cruised DCL, we are just learning what Freestyle dining involves.
