b0684 Posted November 4, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2009 We'll be on the Wonder this Sunday, Nov. 8 and we plan on bringing our own wine so we can enjoy it on our balcony. Does any one know if they will supply us with wine glasses or should I bring my own. Wine doesn't taste as good in a plan drinking glass. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Also, has anyone been on the Wonder since it's refurbish. What was new. Thanks,
tneah Posted November 4, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 4, 2009 We did the same, too. Just go to one of the bars and ask for two wine glasses. They may ask where you are taking them. They will give you glass ones if you use them in your stateroom or take them to dinner. Oh, I was on the Wonder on the second sail after drydock. Upstairs above Cove Cafe is an enclosed area that's an extention of what seems to be part of the Cove Cafe. New carpeting in the halls and stairways. Some changes going on at CC. Muushka Posted November 6, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 6, 2009 You can also ask the cabin steward. We have done this a few times. He even took the dirty ones and replaced them with clean ones as needed!
ducklite Posted November 23, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 23, 2009 Keep in mind that the glasses they have are plain barware. If you are bringing good wine along, it would probably be worthwhile to also pack your Riedel/Spiegelau/Schott Zwiesel. If you do, just be sure to leave it somewhere that the steward won't accidently take it, or make it very clear to him or her that it's your own and you don't want it taken, cleaned, etc.
