Merc85 Posted November 4, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2009 We are disembarking the Carnival Valor in the Port of Miami this Sunday morning. How long will the line be for taxis then/there? Is it just a few minutes or does a long line form? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
erinmarie424 Posted November 4, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 4, 2009 When we were there a few weeks ago there were a LOT of taxis lined up to take us away. We were in group 20 of 25 (almost the last off the ship) and waited outside less than 5 minutes. Almost too fast! We were sitting at breakfast in the MDR at 9:00 and were checking in at our hotel at 9:55 - crazy!

spammie Posted November 5, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 5, 2009 We have never had to wait for a cab at the Miami Port after any of our cruises no matter what time we got off the ship. Have a great time! Wanda
FunCruiser56 Posted November 5, 2009 #5 Share Posted November 5, 2009 The drivers know when the guests are getting off the ships and are waiting for you so don't worry your ride will be right there when you need it. Bev
eandj Posted November 5, 2009 #6 Share Posted November 5, 2009 There is a continuous line of cabs. So the time it takes is.. as much as it takes for people to get their bags in the trunk and load in themselves. If you are in a real hurry, do self carry and get off the ship first. We prefer to be one of the last and plan our post cruise day accordingly. So we never wait more than 5 or so minutes for other straglers.
