AlaskaGolden Posted November 6, 2009 #26 Share Posted November 6, 2009 To summarize and clarify... It appears, on some Princess ships, the free hard ice cream around 3 PM has been replaced by free waffles. The mini-bar for non-full suites some above refer to is just some sodas and mixers which are in the fridge in your cabin upon embarkation--no alcohol. We always ask the steward to remove these items since we don't drink soda or use mixers. Gives us more room for our stuff.
caribill Posted November 6, 2009 #27 Share Posted November 6, 2009 To summarize and clarify... It appears, on some Princess ships, the free hard ice cream around 3 PM has been replaced by free waffles. a) Formerly, the free ice cream in the buffet was also accompanied by the waffles and toppings. b) The free ice cream in the buffet around 3:30 PM has been replaced with free soft-serve ice cream all day on the ships that had the ice cream station near the pool area. Also, there is no-charge ice cream available at lunch and dinner in the dining rooms. Also, on most ships which have the International Cafe, there is gelato available at a cost of $1.50 for three scoops.
