Ft Lauderdale- Comfort Inn Airport/Cruiseport South

Has anyone have any feedback (positive or negative) about this hotel. It is rated a 3-Star in AAA but would like to hear from someone that recently stayed there. This is for a 1 night pre cruise Stay... Any Comments appreciated

If its the Comfort Inn on Sterling Road in Hollywood, yes, I have stayed there. Its a great spot for a pre or post cruise stay. This hotel is nothing lavish, but its clean and fine for one or two nights. They have a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, from the hotel to the pier the next day. They also have a free breakfast buffet with an omlet station. I think you will be pleased with this hotel.

We also stayed there prior to our cruise in sept/04. Totally agree with Doone, and there is shopping very close to hotel. Went to the Kmart to pick up some beer and wine.

Stayed there 3 weeks ago and found the rooms clean. The only problem we had was finding a seat for dinner. A very small dining area but the food was pretty good. Breakfast with an omlet station was quite good. A very good value for the money. Free shuttle from airport and to ship and free full breakfast. Can't go wrong.

Good info - we will be flying into FLL, but cruising from Miami. They don't happen to offer a shuttle to Miami do they? :confused:
