RCL Visa OBC can apply to Celebrity cruise?

I find mixed messages here. I have plenty of credits on my RCCL Visa card...and in the last couple of years, have cruised RCCL and used plenty. We are now cruising on Celebrity again. Can I get OBC credits from my RCCL VISA to a Celebrity cruise? Help! Do I just call the BOA line and ask for a voucher for a Celebrity cruise?

I have a Celebrity Visa and never tried to get on board credits for a RC cruise. If you can't get onboard credits, can you redeem your points for cash? You can use the cash to pay your onboard account. Might be an easier option.

I also have RCCL BOA VISA...and we sail both Celebrity & Royal. I have inquired in the past about transferability because they are "sisters"...NO was the answer I received.

Well, thought I would ask. I sure don't want both credit cards....I will keep hoping the policy will change.
