Bridge Maven Posted November 12, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2009 Does NCL do anything to celebrate Chanukah on cruises during this time frame?
no port @ dfw Posted November 12, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 12, 2009 Short answer, yes. Run a search as this came up a few months ago. Last year, on the Pearl they had a Rabbi on board who conducted services each night. NCL provided latkes and applesauce.

cruisin0504 Posted November 12, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 12, 2009 Our last cruise was on HAL - but also during Chanukah. They had a nice room set aside for us - provided us with wine nightly, as well as cookies, etc. It was a nice balance for all of the Christmas decorations everywhere else on the ship! BridgeMaven - we are on your same cruise, John has already mentioned that he wanted to find a similar experience on this trip (celebrating Chanukah). So - if it doesn't exist - he would probably be interested in helping you make it happen. Are you a mah-jongg maven too?

Hi cruisin504 - I played mah jongg a few times years ago, but haven't played it since.
cruisin0504 Posted November 13, 2009 #6 Share Posted November 13, 2009 Hi cruisin504 - I played mah jongg a few times years ago, but haven't played it since. Oh well - I don't get to play often - but it would be fun to play on a cruise.
