Which ship for Alaska

Going to Alaska end of May and don't know which ship to choose. I have been on RCI legend, Carnival Legend, & NCL Spirit recently but don't know much about Princess. We are not formal people; want a good balcony, and good Buffet. Any comments between the Coral, Island or Diamond Princess?

Any of these ships will give you a wonderful cruise, however my fav is Coral. She and the Island are smaller that the mega ships. You can't go wrong no matter which ship you choose. I'd suggest booking by itinerary instead of by ship.

Our recommendation is the Diamond Princess going northbound from Vancouver to Whittier. You'll also find a lot of good suggestions on the Alaska board:
