Stateroom location...

...which is best? The four of us are going to confirm our booking on Magic tomorrow. Will I get to choose our stateroom? Also for an inside stateroom which deck/side is best?

If you're booking the cheapest inside category, then it is very likely that you won't be able to choose.

 

I've always had the best luck with midship cabins as my wife is a bit prone to motion sickness. The middle of the ship as the least movement overall. I also look at what is above and below. I like to be a couple of decks away in either direction from the main venues, but not directly above/below any of them because of noise. We opted on a cabin midship on deck 6 on the Magic, just aft of the center stairs/elevators.

Thanks for your reply. I just checked my reservation. We're on deck 7 in the middle near the lifts. I'm just glad I'm not one of the low, LOW decks!

I have been on alot of decks on various Carnival ships. Once we were on the lowest deck (Riviera) the 2nd room from the back. We did hear noise from the motor running...but any room as long as you are cruising is GREAT to me.:)
