Cruising during the holidays???

We're leaving with you! It's our second holiday cruise, first one with New Years.

When we sailed w/Carnival, the ship was decorated for the holiday, but that was about the extent of the differences. Somewhat more kids than normal, but not bad.

We leave Key west before sunset on New Years eve, I assume they'll have some sort of event at midnight, but not sure..

We have been doing this for years. No relatives (unless they join us), no trying to get to everyone in one day, no travel traffic, no cold rainy days. Instead, warm sunny days, someone to cook for us, take care of the room and bathroom, time to read a book on the balcony and festive decoration in the tropics that seem so out of place but so wonderful to see. OH yeah.... bring it on. 11 nights this year. Whoo Hoo!:D
