Anyone have any name of independent shore excursion operators for Alaska ports, Juneau, Sitka and Ketchikan? Just want to check prices in comparision to the choices HAL offers. Thanks!

There are many knowledgeable, helpful posters there, and some people who live in the various AK ports who will be able to help you.

Unlike MANY of the other ports of call, it is a very helpful group there, and active year-round.

It doesn't work this way. You have to do your homework first. Look over a shore excursion list, and narrow down your interests, FIND your tour interest, then find an operator. The vendors are specific to the tour. I never recommend any middle man booking agent, if that is what you are looking for??? It is far superior to book direct, and understand fully what you are booking, getting direct information and confirmations.
