ac2007 Posted November 15, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 15, 2009 Hi, At what time do we have to disembark the ship in Barbados since the ship arrives at 4h30 am ? If our flight is late afternoon, can we stay onboard at least until noon? Or do we have to get out as soon as the customs are cleared at the ship terminal ? Thanks for your help. 2serendip Posted November 15, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 15, 2009 When we got off the Windsurf in Lisbon last week, we were told to disembark by 8:45 am. We were independent, but that was as late as they allowed. We were some of the last pax to disembark about 8:35 am, and everyone was busy with preparation for the next arrivals -- they were happy to see us leave. We talked with a few people who were staying on for the next cruise, but there was so much cleaning and maintenance going on in the lounge and around the ship that they decided to get off for the day, too. It's just not a very pleasant place to be on those transition days.

iceworm Posted November 26, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 26, 2009 They'll have you off the ship very early, probably 7:30 latest. There are a couple of island tours offered, otherwise you're on your own - and Barbados on Sunday is very quiet. There is the Concorde exhibit right at the airport which is marvelous and a great way to kill 2 or 3 hours if you're interested in that sort of thing - the last Concorde to land at Barbados with walkaboard tour, A/V presentation, flight simulator, and more.
