Anthony's Key, Dolphin Question

My wife and I want to do the dolphin encounter at Anthony's Key, and they have a age limit of 13. We are traveling with our son who is 5. Is there anyway that Mom and Son can do something while I do the Dolphin swim and then let my wife do it. We are sailing on the Valor
