Voyager deck 10 vs deck 8

Recommended Posts

Frequent cruisers: Any opinions whether the 10th deck or the 8th deck is better or worse for an inside cabin?

Also, any opinions as to the liklihood of getting a guaranteed cabin changed to be on the same deck as a booked cabin? The TA requested same deck and close proximity, talked with a supervisor, but when we received docks, we are on separate floors.

Best way to help us get together if the TA is unsuccessful?

Thanks for any ideas.

We had an inside cabin on deck 10 on Voyager and a balcony cabin on deck 8 on Explorer. The reason we picked deck 10 when we had the inside was so we would only have to go up 1 deck to "check the weather". Since we seem to spend a lot of our time on deck 11 it worked out very well for us. I hope this helps!

We had an inside cabin on deck 10 of the Voyager. I thought it was very convenient since it is only one flight up to the pool and the Windjammer. It was also close to Adventure Ocean which is on deck 12 so if you have kids that would be something to consider. Our daughter spent alot of time in Adventure Ocean. Also, if we were up on the pool deck and needed something from our cabin it wasn't a terribly long walk back to our cabin.

I don't know if this had anything to do with being on deck 10 but for disembarkation we were given white tags which was the first color called. We drove to the pier and did not have a flight to catch so we were delighted to be among the first people to get off the ship. Anyone know how they determine who gets what color tag, I always thought poeple with early flights got early debarkation.

I would definitley book a cabin on deck 10 of Voyager again.
