What's the status of the renovations in the downtown area?

Are you referring to the Front Street Beautification Project?

 

The Public Works Department reported last week that the part of the street yet to be paved and other finishing touches would be completed once the contractors were back on the job later this month.

My understanding is that very nearly the entire portion of Frontstreet that tourists would encounter is complete, with the possible exception of some benches. Problems do still exist with some of the alleys that run between Frontstreet and Backstreet.
