If you are stuck choosing between only those two (using points, etc.) then the Red Lion is much better situated for the places you want to go. The Mar Queen is in an area of town called Lower Queen Anne. Nice area and close to the Space Needle but far from everything else.

The Red Lion is smack dab in the middle of downtown. You can walk easily to everywhere you want to go and take the monorail to Seattle Center for the Needle.

If you aren't stuck with just those two, try Hotwire.com and look for 4 star hotels (or better) in the Pike Place Market area. You will get the Westin or the Sheraton for around $130 a night at the point. Maybe less as you get closer.

We stayed at the Westin and it was a wonderful location. It's near to everything. Managed to score a room overlooking the water and saw our ship come in on cruise day. What a great start to the vacation!

Kim,

Please tell me how you like the Cabin Aft on the Enchantment. We have booked 7666 and I really would like to know how you liked the aft cabin.

Thanks,

Judy
