bfox13 Posted January 9, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2005 We are sailing on Feb. 8 on the Navigator to the Eastern Carribean. Does the ship supply snorkeling equipment or are we going to have to bring our own. I am interested in this if we should decide not to do a ship's tour but venture out on our own. When we were on the P.G. in Tahiti the ship provided the snorkelling equip for the length of the cruise.
Rare greygypsy Posted January 10, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 10, 2005 We will be on the Navigator after you on the 19th. We're pretty sure the ship does not automatically provide snorkeling equipment, except on the excursions that indicate snorkeling equipment provided. We usually bring our own. Have a great cruise!! Dolebludger Posted January 11, 2005 #3 Share Posted January 11, 2005 This is not a direct answer, but it may help some. We were on a W. Caribbean cruise on the DIAMOND, and they did issue snorkle equipment at no charge on request. Thanks, Richard:) :) :)
mkk Posted January 11, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 11, 2005 Just a thought..but snorkel masks/snorkel etc...need to fit pretty well.. I personally wouldn't want to use a snorkel that someone else had already used..and I like my mask to fit like..well..My Mask..I wouldn't worry about fins ..can do without them in a pinch...I always pack my own gear... Dolebludger Posted January 11, 2005 #5 Share Posted January 11, 2005 mkk: As a personal matter, I agree with you. We always take our own masks and tubes, even though the ship makes them available. Thanks, Richard:) :) :)
