wonder and magic at castaway cay same day

On November 27, both Disney Ships will be at Castaway Cay. This is our first disney cruise, 25th cruise overall, can Castaway Cay handle 5000+ on the same day?

Though they are doing construction on the island in anticipation of the new ships, they cannot handle 2 ships on the same day. I'm willing to bet the Wonder will do a sea day on the 27th and Castaway Cay on the 28th (we've been onboard a few times when the CC day and at sea days were reversed).

There is no way 2 ships can dock at the same time. Their dock is just large enough for one ship at a time. I agree with the above poster, they will only arrive one at a time.

The closest both ships have been to being at CC on the same day is when 1 does a sailby,a few hundred yards off the beach, while the other is at the pier. Will make a great phot op, and video op, if this occurs while you are onboard or on the beach.I would keep both real close since theres no predicitng if the other wil do a sailby, since at least 1 or both will play those 7 magical notes when the other nears.

That HAS happened before - November 28th of last year - and resulted in a "Battle of the Horns". Very Cool!

I'm going to be on the Wonder, and it is set to have a sea day on the 27th and will be at Castaway Cay on the 28th. Have a great time.
