Cruises from BA leave in the summer (their summer) and it will be hot there. Pools are open.

Thanks, I probably should have said "January and February" to avoid confusion but you knew what I meant and I thank you for the answer.

 

Now, do they close them as they travel further south and the weather gets colder?

The outdoor pool isn't heated, so the water will be chilly, even if the air temp is warm. Last year I was able to sunbathe the first two days of the cruise and the last two, but in between we were too far south. The pool was open, but unused, as the water was just too cold.
