Cabin 9578 pictures and cabin review

Here are some pictures of Radiance of the Seas Cabin 9578

I loved the cabin.

During the evening, I sometimes heard sound from the Centrum.

Personally, it didn't bother me.

In fact, I enjoyed knowing what was going on, and not feeling so isolated in the cabin.

It also helped that I was prepared (thanks to CC) that I may hear sound from the Centrum.

If it caught me totally by surprise, I may have been annoyed,

It was very noticeable on the first night during the Disco Dance party in the Centrum at about 11pm but it alerted me that something fun was going on.

I also noticed it when the female vocalist performed in the Centrum.

When the instrumental artists performed, it was not very noticeable.

By midnight it was very quiet. I usually was not in my cabin anyway so the sound from the centrum rarely bothered me.

It probably would have bothered my husband who goes to bed early and may not have cared for the female vocalist.

I had 2 chairs and small table on the balcony.

I was able to sit on one chair and put the other chair in front of me, and put my feet on the chair in front of me. I am about 5 feet tall.

I doubt that a lounge chair would have fit, and if it did, it would be very tight.

Cabin 9578 is 2nd cabin on front of the hump.

I did not notice being bothered by the wind.

The right side of the balcony is deeper, and sitting on the right side closest to the cabin seemed to provide protection from the wind.

Also if I stood on the left side against the left divider, it also provided protection from the wind.

Next time, I might try cabin 9592 which is the 2nd cabin from the back of the hump to see if there is a difference in wind exposure.

The view was very nice. Looking to the left, I could see forward to the bridge and the side of the front of the ship.

Looking to the right, you cannot see the side of the back of the ship, but you have about 23 degree view from center looking to your right.

Hope that made sense.

Again, I hope to try 9592 someday to see the difference in view.

Cabin 9594 looks very nice. Beautiful views.

Good to know that you could not hear sound from the centrum.

Did you feel that you were more protected from the wind? (being on back of hump).

Your 9594 balcony is bigger than 9578.

Cabin 9576 was to my left, and should be the same size as 9594,

and it was substantially larger than my balcony

My balcony was a tad larger than cabin 9580 to my right.

Two couples on our Roll Call, last Oct had #9584 & 9586. Their rooms were no differant in size then our Ports side #9056, but they had the advantage of being able to see the intire length of the ship. Actually we were able to see quite a ways on our Balcony. We will have a Hump Cabin on the Mariner in #8620.
