Forums rules...Are we allowed to post ebay auction number?

I'm selling for cheap, a canon waterproof housing/digital camera on ebay. I don't want to break the rules, are we allowed to post an auction number? If it matters I'm not a business, this is an one time personal thing and I think the target market would be someone who visits the Caribbean... :)

I'd like to hear a formal answer on this. Every couple of years I've been updating my cameras - including underwater marine cases, and I've sold the old ones on eBay. I haven't mentioned that here, nor referred to the listings, as I just presume any sort of advertising is against the rules - but I never formally asked.

Hi!

Yes, it is against the forum rules; we don't allow ads of any kind.

Thanks for asking...but in actuality your original post is, in fact, an ad of sorts
