versuco Posted November 28, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2009 Leaving Friday for 10 days on Ruby Princess, need to pack this weekend. It's been several years since I have cruised with Princess. Do they provide shampoo and conditioner? Also are there hair dryers in the cabins? I am trying to pack as light as possible and would like to eliminate these items if they are available. Thanks for any help.

Toto2Kansas Posted November 28, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 28, 2009 Shampoo-Yes if you like the eucalyptus scent. Conditioner-Yes, but it is a very light conditioner and some (including me) find it useless. Hairdryer-Motel/Hotel type, wall mounted and not all that powerful (definitely not good for those who use it to style their hair).
WhereIBelong Posted November 28, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 28, 2009 There are hairdryers in the cabins. You may want to do a search on this board. There are several threads that provide great ideas on what to (and not to) pack. Among them: nightlight, surge protector, etc. Enjoy your cruise! paul929207 Posted November 28, 2009 #5 Share Posted November 28, 2009 Yes, every Princess cabin has a hardryer and shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. If you run low, your cabin steward will replenish.
Clutterlady Posted November 28, 2009 #6 Share Posted November 28, 2009 They do provide hair dryers. If you have short hair you will be fine. If you have long thick hair, bring your own. For me the shampoo and conditioner works fine, if you prefer a special brand, bring your own. Don't forget there are Laundromats on each deck....enjoy:)
versuco Posted November 28, 2009 Author #7 Share Posted November 28, 2009 Thanks for all the quick responses:). They help a lot. This is our first 10 day cruise, and I don't want to overpack, but I do want to make sure we have everything we need.
