Google Earth and Sapphire Princess

That resurrected "Princess Cays Mystery" thread led me to explore Google Earth again, and while looking at the Port of Puerto Vallarta, it shows a very interesting top-down view of the Sapphire Princess and, I think, HAL's Oosterdam. Check it out...

ps. if you don't have Google Earth (and why not?? ;) ), try http://www.*****, go to Ship Positions and check on the Sapphire (that'll only work on Tuesdays...) and you'll be able to see her in your browser.

We will be aboard Sapphire Princess in January....glad to see plenty of deck chairs available as we are going to stay aboard and have the pool to ourselves....:)

I don't think Google Earth is the same thing as Google Maps, but if you go to Google Maps and click on satellite view for PVR, you can also see her. It's a great picture -- very clear and you can zoom in for a pretty close-up view.

I believe they use the same photos...
