Attn: Recent Mariner cruisers

What time were you all able to debark? If I carry off my luggage, is 8:30 a.m. a good time to tell the car service to meet us?

We were on the Mariner last February and we were one of the later groups to disembark because our flight was late in the day. I believe they base your time of disembarking by information they have passengers with the earliest flights. You would have to be one of the very first groups to disembark to be off the ship by 8:30 a.m.

I just got off the mariner on sunday and one of the members in our group wanted to carry his luggage off the ship as he drove to the pier. He made arrangements at guest relations to do that and they let him pick the time and gave him a corresponding luggage tag. He left at 8:00am.

 

A few days before the end of the cruise you are given a form to fill out with your number of bags, and choices of times when you have flights. You are issued luggage tags based on that. I have the literature and the first group allowed to disembark was 7:15am to 8:30am.

I have sailed from Port Canavarel before, but it's been a while: From port to MCO is about a 55 minute drive, right? I think I remember that clearly at least. :)
