Tender Tickets?

Can anyone with recent, first hand experience clarify this for me, please? We have an independent cave-tubing excursion booked in Belize and are supposed to catch the first tender. Is everyone in your party required to go somewhere and get a tender ticket? If so, how/where do you get the tickets? Can you not get off the ship without a tender ticket? Are the first tenders for carnival sponsored excursions only? Thanks for ANY help you can provide!

Everyone in your party is supposed to go and get their own tender sticker. You are only supposed to go and get them when everyone in your party is ready to get off.

Generally the early Carnival excursions will get off first then they start calling zone numbers for the non Carnival excursions. There will be details in the Capers about where and when to go to get your sticker. Show up earlier then the time listed.

We just had one tender on the Spirit. We showed up 15 minutes early to the time in the Capers and were given zone 2. But it was about 45 minutes after our arrival in port that they called zone 2 and we went to get on the tender.

Someone in line behind us was trying to figure out how to get off the ship sooner since they booked an independent excursion for 9AM, same as arrival time into the tender port. Um yeah...not a good idea.

We were on shore about 10AM, an hour after scheduled arrival into port.
