We are currently in Genoa, it is 1018 and my husband is taking forever. We can see teh ship from our hotel window. would it be okay to leave him here? Just kidding. All night they kept looking at another ship in port and saying it was our ship, I kept telling them it was not. I told them when they see it, they will say "OMG, that is huge, etc." Yup, when we woke this morning, it was just coming into port and they were like DANG, that is huge. I told them, "I told you so".

I keep taking out the camcorder to get a better view. I took a picture of it from my window. I am going to see if I can upload it.

In Summer the Splendida itinarary includes Malta. There is a web site of our Grand Harbour and you can see the ships sailing in and out and docked near the bastions. The bastions are , obviously very high, but the Splendida makes them look low.

The ship is so beautiful I'm sure you'll be impressed.
