Water sports platform Q's

SeaBunny

Recommended Posts

We're thinking of trying this line mainly because of the water sports platform, but have some questions about how it works.

First of all, do they charge for the equipment -- like the kayaks? Or anything else?

Second, can you snorkel directly from the platform? I've seen mixed information on this in these threads. Some say you have to take a kayak out and snorkel from that. I can't imagine how on earth that would work. Do you tow the kayak while snorkeling? Yuck.

I'm talking about the Caribbean cruises here, BTW.

Thanks to all for your help.

You cannot jump off the watersports platform directly to snorkel --there must be some kind of security/safety measure in place--a boat will take you a little ways off. The watersports are free--just go down and reserve the kayak or windsail or get the snorkel equipment. Caveat: I am writing this from my experience of 2 years ago on Windsurf--but will be on her in 2 weeks for a repeat. :)
