Using train to go into Rome and back

If we buy a round trip ticket for the train to Romr from Civitavecchia, and go all the way to Termini, can we get on the train for the return at San Pietro station instead and use this same ticket? I see by the schedule ([url="http://www.trenitalia.com"]www.trenitalia.com[/url]) it only stops for one minute. Do they always stop even if no one has made a reservation?

You can use your return train ticket to come back from Rome St Peters to Civitavecchia. Most of the trains that stop at St Peters are local or regional trains and if the schedule says they will stop,they will.
