will work to cruise Posted December 13, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2009 We will be sailing on the Serenade this June. We are scheduled to sail away at 8:30. What time would they hold the Muster Drill? Thanks for any info.
Sue L Posted December 13, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 13, 2009 Usually close to sailing time, they may even postpone late dinner that first night to accommodate it.

What time would they hold the Muster Drill? Thanks for any info. We are departing on SOS in January. All our cruise literature says the ship will actually sail at 10 PM. Is the departure time different for the June departures? I hope so because I am planning on a 6-6:30 muster drill and enjoying my late seating dinner at 8:30. If you miss the first night muster they'll come and get you for the second night.

I'm sailing on the Serenade next Saturday and we depart at 8:30pm. I'm almost positive all January 2010 departures on Serenade out of San Juan are now 8:30pm. I think the muster drill is at either 5:30 or
whiteway906 Posted December 15, 2009 #8 Share Posted December 15, 2009 The best part? No need to take your life jackets to muster. So sweet. Then again, muster is no big deal when your muster station is in the theater and not outside on deck IN THE SUN. LOL! I'll be back on the SOS real soon...but not soon enough! SOPOME Posted December 18, 2009 #9 Share Posted December 18, 2009 We are just back from SOS last week. (Had a great time!) We were in line at the pier about 11:30am. The line started moving about 11:45. We were on the ship by 12:15. The muster drill was at 6pm (with no life jacket requirement!), and the late dinner seating was at 8:45 for that night only. The ship sailed at 8:30.
