strobellayjam Posted December 16, 2009 #5 Share Posted December 16, 2009 Yes, they did (as all ships do). There is a nightly sugar-free dessert. Though when I was on the Grand in Oct and opted to select it, our waitor tended to discourage me as (in his words), they sugar-free options were never very good... flycess Posted December 16, 2009 #6 Share Posted December 16, 2009 I disagree. My husband has been getting the sugar free deserts for several years and I have gotten them on occasion as well. The ones in the dining room have always been very good. Some of the ones on the buffet in Horizon Court or Cafe Caribe have not been as good. They sometimes seem a little dry. Overall, the sugar free options are very good!
Times Prince Posted December 16, 2009 #7 Share Posted December 16, 2009 Personally, I think most of the sugar free desserts are yummy, and i will even get them at times instead of the "normal" desserts. There is always a sugar free option available - remember many cruise line passengers are of the age where sugar free is a necessity.

strobellayjam Posted December 17, 2009 #9 Share Posted December 17, 2009 I disagree. I'm simply repeating what our waiter communicated to me and his recommendations were usually bang on.
