Best transportation option from FLL to Miami

We are a group of 14 adults and 2 toddlers looking for the better transportation option ($$$$$$) to get from FLL to Miami Downtown hotel for a pre cruise stay and then to Port of Miami.

 

Which is the best option for our situation?

Unless you must stay downtown, I would opt for a hotel near FLL with a free airport shuttle. To get to POM many on these boards suggest SAS - www.ridesas.com - ussually $15 per person each way, but I suspsect you will qualify for a group discount.

 

If you decide to go to downtown Miami, SAS may be able to shuttle you to your hotel, but then you'll need to cab to POM - even with mini van cabs you'll need 3 for your group and luggage, but the cab fare from most downtown Miami hotels to POM only $10 or so. Good luck!:)
