Arriving at LAX, March 5th and staying at a local hotel one half mile from LAX then on the 6th need ground transportation to World Cruise terminal in San Pedro to board Princess Sapphire for Mexican Rivieria cruise. Travelling with a semi-handicapped person who does not want to take free shuttle back to airport to get on Princess shuttle. Any suggestions on the cheapest and best way to travel e.g. taxi, sedan. Anyone know the approximate cost of a taxi from hotels near LAX to Princess terminal?

Thanks

SuperShuttle costs $17pp from LAX to San Pedro each way. I believe they give a discount for booking roundtrip and there are codes on this board that you also might be able to use (one is UYR59). They can arrange to pick you up at your hotel and go to San Pedro (their abbreviation for the port is LAH=Los Angeles Harbor) but it probably costs a bit more and the discount code might not work for other than the airport itself. I also belive that their web site has a place to indicate that you require a wheelchair accessable van. You can also call them to make the reservation since their web site isn't too user friendly.

You can also try their execucar towncar or mini-van express service. Those cost more, (approx $80 and $50 per vehicle, not pp) but those are NOT shared with other people so no waiting for others or making stops other than your own!
