Earliest dinner in MDR on embarkation night

We are on Quest on 2/20/10. We can board on 2/20 but Quest doesn't sail until 2/21. A bunch of us are going to take taxis/vans to the Night Safari but we would love to eat dinner in the main dining room first. Can anyone tell me the earliest you can eat in the MDR in this kind of situation (overnighting in embarkation port)? Is it before 6?

Thanks for the info.

As far as I know, the earliest the dining room opens is 6pm on any night. However, if the pool grill is open on embarkation day, (I think it is, but I'm not 100% sure about that) you could get burgers, hot dogs, ribs, gyros, tacos, etc., before that time.

We really want to eat in the MDR on our first night so if it doesn't open until 6, we will be standing there as it opens. :D
