Advice sought on ground transportation from LAX

Does anyone have any suggestions on the best ground transportation to take from LAX to San Pedro, World Cruise Terminal to board the Sapphire Princess? Has anyone used a specific taxi company or is there a shuttle service other than the ship transfer system? Any suggestions or advice will be greatly appreciated. The cruise is from March 6th to 13th, Mexican Riviera...anyone else booked? Arriving on the 5th and staying at the LAX Western Airport Hotel...anyone else nearby that perhaps we can share a ride?
