My gf and I are going to be in progresso from the elation. what is the best way to get to Merida?

You can catch the bus at the intown plaza where the courtesy bus drops you for about 7 or 8 bucks RT. Or if you walk about 3 or 4 blocks, $3.00 RT.

The terminal in Merida is only 3 blocks from the central plaza. Lve the terminal, turn right, 3 blocks. Great city.

Hi! We are going to be on the 1/30 Elation also. We are wanting to tour the area independently (trying to save $$). I read that you can take a taxi to the ruins and Merida very inexpensively, and that the taxi driver waits for you at the ruins and in Merida. I also read that 2 - 4 people can share a taxi and split the cost. I'm already packed and impatiently waiting.

it's not really our thing either but they say it's on the way, so I figure it wouldn't kill us to take in a little culture. what are your plans for Belize?? Just trying to finalize my own.

we are cave tubing with coral breeze. in cozumel we are doing pb. we booked like 8 months ago so i am super excited. I have been maniclly cleaning the house.

 

the cave tube thing should be fun

I think in Cozumel we are also doing pb, my hubby won't go tubing - doesn't like the water....I've been cleaning all week too. Yesterday I scrubbed the bathroom tile with a toothbrush.
