Born2Sea Posted December 27, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 27, 2009 We are stopping in St. Croix on cruise and looking for a sandy beach with restaurants, beach chairs and umbrellas. We heard and read that some of the beaches are rocky or have shells on them. We were supposed to go on a excursions to Cane Bay for the day, but the cruise line canceled it. Please help with some information.
abbydmc Posted December 28, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 28, 2009 You can arrange your own transportation to Cane Bay. We took a taxi, about $18-20 per person, and the driver was very punctual in picking us up. Just arrange to pay on the return trip...:)

abbydmc Posted December 28, 2009 #4 Share Posted December 28, 2009 It was nice...sandy, a few small shells, but easy to walk on. Take a look at www.eatatcanebay.com to see a couple of photo's of the beach. Not a huge beach, but was nice and we really enjoyed it.
