Portofino's on Navigator

Has anyone eaten at Portofino's recently? Trying to decide whether to book for our next cruise. We are already booked in Chops, but haven't been to Portofino's in a few years.

Portofino's is great. Best meal is the seafood tree. We like it better than Chops.

We were at Chops and Portofino in November - Portofino was better. But: do not try the dessert sampler; this wasn't a mousse au chocolat or a panna cotta!

We go to both specialty restaurants many times during each cruise. That said, we have now begun to swing back more to Portofino's. The filet there is better than Chops, imho, since it is marinated in wine, lemon juice, seasonings, etc, which makes it so tender and flavorful. Plus the halibut is devine as well as the skewer. The lamb in Chops is now my favorite and the wine pairing dinners are fabulous, if they have one and you drink wine. I'd book a reservation in Portofino. Enjoy and cheers for a Happy New Year!

We were in Portofino on the Navigator in March. It was excellent. We prefer the appetizers at Portofino to those at Chop's.

We just returned and ate twice at Portofino and once at Chops - can't decide which is best - like each one for different reasons!
