Sea Of Cortez Eco-Snorkeling Tour - Cabo

My wife and I are going on the Sea Of Cortez Eco-Snorkeling Tour with RCCL in a couple of weeks, snorkeling in Santa Maria Bay and Chileno Bay, and I was wondering if anyone here can provide me any additional information on this excursion.

Did you enjoy it? How clean and well-maintained is the equipment? (If not, how would you suggest we clean it?) Is it safe/wise to leave our seapasses, id, or whatever in a beach bag on the boat? (If not, what should we do with it?) What are the people in charge like?

We have never gone snorkeling before, so we really don't know what to expect, but we'd like to do whatever possible to help make the experience as enjoyable as possible.

Thank you!
